Early 2000s icon Shannon Elizabeth is stepping into a new chapter — and it’s one she says is entirely on her own terms.
Best known for her breakout role in American Pie and appearances in Scary Movie, the actress has officially launched an account on OnlyFans, marking a major shift in how she connects with fans.
Her account went live on April 16, with Elizabeth explaining that the move is about reclaiming control after years in an industry where she felt her career path was largely shaped by others.
“I’ve spent my entire career working in Hollywood, where other people controlled the narrative and the outcome of my career,” she said. “This new chapter is about changing that.”
The actress added that the platform gives her the freedom to share a side of herself fans haven’t seen before, while building a more direct and personal relationship with her audience.
“I’m choosing OnlyFans because it allows me to connect directly with my audience, create on my own terms, and just be free. I really do think this is the future,” she explained.
Elizabeth’s manager, Andy Bachman, backed the decision, calling the platform a powerful way for creators to engage with fans without the traditional barriers of Hollywood.
The move places her alongside a growing number of celebrities embracing the platform, including Carmen Electra, Bhad Bhabie, Mia Khalifa and Drea de Matteo — many of whom have used it to regain financial independence or creative control.
Despite the career pivot, Elizabeth stressed that her life isn’t solely focused on content creation. She continues to live in South Africa, where she remains deeply involved in charity work — something she says is still a major priority.
“This feels like the perfect moment to open up my world to the fans who have been with me throughout this journey,” she said. “I’m so excited for this.”
Her move also reflects a wider shift in the entertainment industry, where more stars are bypassing traditional systems in favour of direct-to-fan platforms — reshaping how fame, content, and income all intersect.
