Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman has revealed she is pregnant with her third child — and her first with partner Tanguy Destable.
The 44-year-old shared the exciting news in a new interview, describing the pregnancy as both a “privilege” and a “miracle.” Speaking about the moment, she said: “Tanguy and I are very excited… I’m just very grateful.”
Portman, who is already a mother of two, opened up about her deep appreciation for the experience, explaining that her perspective has evolved over time. She highlighted how her upbringing — with a father working as a fertility doctor — made her aware of how difficult pregnancy can be for many.
“I grew up hearing about how hard it is to get pregnant,” she said. “I have so many people I love who’ve had such a hard time with it… it’s such a beautiful, joyous thing, and it’s also not an easy thing.”
Despite the challenges, Portman says she feels fortunate and is embracing every moment, especially as she believes this could be her final pregnancy. “There’s a calm [this time]… knowing who I want to spend time with and what kind of energy I want around me,” she added.
The actress was recently spotted out in Paris, subtly revealing her baby bump while keeping her usual low-key style with oversized coats.
This will be Portman’s first child with Destable, a French music producer she has been linked to since 2025. The couple have largely kept their relationship private.
Portman already shares two children — son Aleph and daughter Amalia — with her ex-husband Benjamin Millepied, whom she divorced in 2024 following more than a decade of marriage.
Now, as she prepares to welcome another child, Portman says she is feeling strong, positive, and more present than ever.
